We’re currently seeking a Director, Center of Excellence – Mission Critical for our U.S. Head Office. This leadership role plays a key part in driving our data center portfolio and shaping our presence in a rapidly expanding sector.
Your Role: How You’ll Make an Impact
- Forge strong relationships with current and prospective clients in the Mission Critical and Data Center space to grow our project portfolio.
- Guide efforts in business development, including estimating, proposal creation, and client presentations.
- Drive strategic hiring and lead the growth of our dedicated Mission Critical team.
- Provide vision and leadership for the U.S. Mission Critical business unit.
- Ensure success across safety, quality, schedule, budget, and profitability goals.
- Lead implementation of a comprehensive quality program with full stakeholder support.
- Oversee multidisciplinary design review processes, ensuring compliance, constructability, procurement alignment, and safety integration.
- Identify and manage potential scope gaps, technical risks, and areas requiring coordination across disciplines.
Your Experience: What You Bring to the Table
- Over 5 years leading complex, large-scale Data Center projects with a strong industry network.
- 15+ years in the construction sector, with leadership experience across diverse delivery models.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Center build processes, including long-lead equipment and commissioning.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and mechanical cooling for Data Centers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
